What you should know about Hydroxycut:
Hydroxycut is the brand name of some of America’s top-selling weight loss products which are taken by millions of consumers each year. Hydroxycut products are made by Iovate Health Sciences, which has over 750 items sold in more than 70 countries around the world.

On May 1, 2009, the FDA announced a recall of 14 different Hydroxycut products, following at least 23 reports of liver problems, including one death of a 19-year-old boy.

   Release Caplets
• Hydroxycut Hardcore Liquid Capsules
• Hydroxycut Max Liquid Capsules
• Hydroxycut Regular Drink Packets
• Hydroxycut Caffeine-Free Drink Packets
• Hydroxycut Hardcore Drink Packets
   (Ignition Stix)
• Hydroxycut Max Drink Packets
• Hydroxycut Liquid Shots
• Hydroxycut Hardcore RTDs
   (Ready-to-Drink)

• Hydroxycut Max Aqua Shed
• Hydroxycut 24
• Hydroxycut Carb Control
• Hydroxycut Natural

 

Hydroxycut side effects:
These potential side effects (due to the stimulants in Hydroxycut) include, but are not limited to:

• High blood pressure (hypertension)
• Seizures
• A rapid heart rate (tachycardia)
• Rapid breathing or difficulty breathing
• Anxiety or agitation
• An irregular heart rhythm (arrhythmia)
• Feelings of a rapidly or forcefully beating
   heart (known as heart palpitations)
• Signs of an allergic reaction, including an
   unexplained rash, hives, itching,
   unexplained swelling, wheezing, or
   difficulty breathing or swallowing.

 

 

 




Symptoms:

Symptoms of liver damage include jaundice, a yellowing of the skin or eyes, brown urine, nausea, vomiting, excessive fatigue, weakness, stomach pain, itching and loss of appetite. Other health problems have also been reported, including: seizures, cardiovascular disorders and rhabdomyolysis, a form of muscle damage that can cause kidney failure.
